jainvince Posted 16 December , 2015 Share Posted 16 December , 2015 PrivateAdam Brindley, 8398 of 12th Bn Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) was killed in action in Flanders on 14th March 1916. Whilst he was born in Littleborough, Lancs he soon moved to the Stoke area but is nethertheless included on our Roill of Honour. Relieved 4th East Yorks. 14/3.1916 Enemy exceedingly active his attention to GOUROCK ROAD, CHARING CROSS, LOVERS WALK and Battalion H Q being very marked.Casualties OR 2 killed, 11 wounded 1 shell shock.
