How much are the re-prints going for ?

There's an original in New Zealand for only £375 plus p & p. It's been there for quite some time.

quite poor condition the size of this volume makes this the norm

Indeed, £36, quite cheap: but I would recommend that anyone who might use it a bit should try and find a hardback copy: I do not think you can buy it in h/bk new any more.

My copy is an original but has had the cover taken off and replaced by one of those ghastly bright green library bindings. Seems to have come from the Royal Hospital Chelsea, sadly.

It's a great pity only New Zealand did a slim similar volume, imagine the fun if we had volumes done by Australia, Canada, Newfoundland , etc, but most of all engine of Empire: India.

Good find though. My original is in a slip case.

Not thick at all - most intelligible.

(And think of all the work and precision required in that pre computer world of scribes and clerks.
