H.M.S. Sefton

I would be grateful for any information on H.M.S. Sefton. I've checked all of my books but can't find any info.

SEFTON was a 24 Class Fleet Sweeping Sloop byukt at Barclay Curlie and launched on 6 Jul 18. She does appear in the NAVY LISTs for a time, but was sold in 1922 having left active service in 1920.

From the NAVY LIST,

SEFTON was a Chatham ship.

Her commanding officer LCDR George St. J. Llewellyn was appointed on 8 August 1918. She had two LT, RNR, appointed on 10 August 1918, as well as a LT, RNVR. A Surgeon S/LT, RNVR was appointed on 31 August 1918. In accordance with practice an engineer, in this case a Warrant Mechanician, was appointed on 2 April 1918,during construction.
