Archer Posted 19 August , 2015 Share Posted 19 August , 2015 Can anyone help? I can't seem to find the War Diaries for this unit on Ancestry.com. Any ideas? Alternatively, can anyone share with me images of the pages covering the period 8 July - 31 August 1918? Thanks in hope and anticipation  William
dgibson150 Posted 19 August , 2015 Share Posted 19 August , 2015 The records are available to download from the National Archives, eg http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/678fe7a8de754c388f54bf3543b3712d. You will probably find the Australian records useful via https://www.awm.gov.au/. I hope the links work?!! David
Archer Posted 19 August , 2015 Author Share Posted 19 August , 2015 Thanks, David I don't immediately understand the reference to the Australian records?
dgibson150 Posted 19 August , 2015 Share Posted 19 August , 2015 I think you will find that the 15th Battalion was supporting Australian Infantry in the Battle of Amiens, 8 August 1918 onwards. Maybe you should look at https://sites.google.com/site/landships/home/narratives/narratives-by-battalion/15th-battalion before anything else. It is a good site to start from..
