Remembered Today:

English oak at Gallipoli?

Saw a report of a booklet produced a couple of years ago about an Englishman who planted an oak at Gallipoli, somewhere near the Vineyard. Does anyone know of this, does it still exist?

Thanks, Peter

I heard Martin Purdy speak last Saturday in Macclesfield on reflections of the Gallipoli in which he talked about the oak tree planted by the Duckworth family. A great talk well worth the journey to listen to him.
