Ken Lees Posted 15 November , 2004 Share Posted 15 November , 2004 Steve, The Army List was a publication which gave details of officers only, so it will not help you. The only Thomas Shurey of the Middlesex Regt listed in the online index of the Medal Index Cards has the service number G/17771. Perhaps someone can suggest further avenues of exploration. Michael Posted 15 November , 2004 Share Posted 15 November , 2004 Yes, the medal roll for the Victory and British war Medals is likely to give the Battalion/s served in. They can only be viewed at the National Archives. Mick
