I know some Irish RC records are already online in Ancestry as I found relatives baptism records in Maryborough (Portlaoise). Have you got a link to the website please? I found them all ok on the census through the years, but prior to that I only know they moved from Dublin to Manchester (then .clitheroe by 1841). The thought of searching Irish records has been daunting - until now I've had a quick look and, despite not knowing which parish to look at, I'm hoping it won't be too onerous a task to search through all the different parishes. Of course, whether I get the right Patrick Quinlan born in 1799, and that the given dates and places are right, is a bit of a fingers' crossed job! Thanks for ketting us know! You might want to try this other Irish Gov site. They have the RC and COI church records for Dublin City online and they are indexed and searchable through their database. http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/church-records/about/what-church-records-are-available-online Mick. Roger Thompson Posted 9 July , 2015 Share Posted 9 July , 2015 Hi there Kim, it scrabbled my head last night and the eyes ached as well, I'm at the same point in time 1799/1805, but and its a massive but I am not certain of the parish although I'm as near as I can get. I know they where in London by 1841 in London, plus I don't know whether they were RC or COI or even non conformists. Oh well its a start. Cheers Roger.
