MarieCeleste Posted 16 July , 2015 Share Posted 16 July , 2015 Hello Ray, I'm a volunteer researcher with Tynemouth WW1 Commemoration Project http://www.tynemouthworldwarone.org/ and we have James Ashton Black on our database. Excellent biography, do you happen to know the source? Marie EDIT: No sooner asked the question then found the answer on North East War Memorial Project website. The biographies are from a Memorial Volume produced in 1923 by Mr J. R. Hall for Jesmond Presbyterian Church.
