On p 27 8(d) above, mention is made as follows: 'Grenadiers, Mills grenade extracting hook. Arrangements for carrying these must be made.' Can some elaborate on what the hook was used for and what it looked like?

Cheers Andrew. I'm familiar with these but from the wording in the order wondered if there was some more elaborate device for literally extracting grenades from where they we'en't supposed to be!
