Remembering Sgt John William (Jack) Brown Leeds 'Pals' later 2Lt Yorkshire Regiment awarded Military Cross 3rd Ypres and died of wounds.

I think CWGC has his place of residence incorrect. Nowell's, yes, off Harehills Lane, Leeds, but look at the Headstone Schedule. Should read Nowell Mount. Could be commemorated on the St Cyprians War Memorial or at St. Agnes on Stoney Rock Lane.

Address from his MIC as confirmed by WD correspondence to NOK - 2 Nowell Mount, Harehills Lane.Thanks for the possible commemoration refs but does not appear to have been named on either.
