Paul-B Posted 27 April , 2015 Posted 27 April , 2015 Hello Forum Pals, Is it possible that a member of the Belgian Army would have been awarded the British Military Cross in WW1. If so where would this be recorded. I have checked the London Gazette and see nothing. Many thanks for any info. Paul
rflory Posted 27 April , 2015 Posted 27 April , 2015 Yes, quite a few Belgian Army officers received the British MC. The names of the recipients were listed in War Department Lists rather than the London Gazette. If you give us his name I will look him up in the lists that I have. Regards, Dick Flory
Paul-B Posted 28 April , 2015 Author Posted 28 April , 2015 Thank you very much for your offer Dick. His name was Leopold CA Goreux. Is it possible to know what is written on his citation for the medal? Thanks once again. Paul
