As a soldier of 2/2 City of London Regiment, my grandfather, Albert Victor Utting, spent several months of 1915 in Malta, training for whatever deployment was to follow. During that time he kept a diary of the everyday events of barrack life. I have posted the diary online and it can be read here.

Nigel Utting.

Nigel, welcome to the GWF

Can you post another link please?

I have tried the one above but only managed to reach your 'search' where I again tried 'diary' & 'Albert Victor' but without success.

Good luck

Michael
