Keith Iles Posted 24 April , 2015 Share Posted 24 April , 2015 Just returned home from the local dawn service here in Armadale WA, great turn out I have never seen so many people attend as they did today. As promised to Forum Pal Michelle Young I spared a special thought for Ernest and placed a written tribute to him amongst the wreaths one the face of the memorial bearing his name. Rest easy Diggers, Lest we forget Ernest William Serls.docx

Who was one of lord kitchens men he sadly got wounded at Gallipoli. In the big battle and was buried in Alexandria. Only found this out some Years ago doing my family tree. Was very moving day . It was great to see such record crowds show up.
