Did a talk for local ATC tonite and one of the leaders asked if I could find anything on her Gdad named above who was in WW1 , cannot find anything on Ancestry anyone help?

He's not listed on the Scottish National War Memorial at Edinburgh Castle, so did he survive WW1?

HI guys thanks for that thats great! Can never understand why I cannot find anything in Ancestry , searched all names and variations and nothing!

He survived WW1 according to his Gt Grand daughter.

She will be really pleased you found this out, thanks
