Framing / Displaying medals and service details etc.

Am wanting to display my great granddads WW1 service memorabilia as a permanent tribute to the fella……. will probably maybe have a small description of his service, medals, cap badge, photo of him in uniform etc. in the display….. probably 20" x 16" sort of size.

Just wondered if there were any specialist framing companies that people would recommend for the purposes of displaying personal military memorabilia who are good to deal with online…… (I'm based in Cheshire, UK)

……..or would you suggest it's a straightforward piece of framing display, doesn't need anyone with specialist skills and it's simply a case of getting a local framing company to do it…….. ?

Cheers,

Hello wibs,

I am sure there are any number of excellent framing services in the UK, if you choose to frame them yourself have a look at the forum posts under militaria displayed and you will see many fine examples of framed medals, photos and personal material.
