Wonderful news about L/Bmdr Jones and the others. Many, many thanks to Chris Harley, the In from the Cold project, and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

Hi Terry

Thanks for letting us know. Trooper Odell 1/1st Berkshire Yeomanry will also be commemorated on the "Trooper Potts VC£ memorial which will be unveiled on Sunday 4th October 2015 in Reading. Along with the statue is a roll of honour cast in bronze honouring the 426 Berks Yeomen who gave their lives on active service. N.B. Odell served in the same troop as Fred Potts.

Andrew

Pte. Peter GREIG 15882, 1st Royal Scots Fusiliers has always been in Soldiers Died, (at some point his name may have been confused with another Peter Greig of the Royal Scots Fusiliers who died exactly four months later in Gallipoli), and I notice that his name does not appear on the photos of the Menin Gate Royal Scots Fusiliers panels I took in 2014. I now see on the CWGC website that his name has been inscribed on an addenda panel on the Gate, which is good news.

William

Thank you so much for your help in getting James Wilfred Ollerenshaw on the way to full commemoration Terry. The original research on him was carried out by several members of our Chalford Great War Research Group and not just by me. We are so pleased to get him on the database before the 100th anniversary of his death and hope to see the full CWGC entry for him including details of the local grave in due course.

Thanks once again for the excellent work that you and the IFCP team continue to do.

I was wondering what had happened to Herbert Jones' case (NB, Underdown, not Underwood).
