duncanpowell Posted 16 April , 2015 Share Posted 16 April , 2015 I am researching my my great uncle, William George Powell, brother of Ernest Cooper Powell (who was RAMC, then KLR 2nd Lt). It seems William had a very different war career, in the ASC. He is at first no S 2284 in the WLDASC - what does the WLD bit stand for? Where was he and when? There is mention of a transfer (on health grounds) somewhere. Not sure why and where. Any help very gratefully received!
