Roop,

A nice photograph of what looks like a Mark IV Male Tank, and although most of the Mark IV's were made by Metropolitan in Birmingham, some were made at Foster's in Lincolnshire.

Surprised - then again perhaps not - that the BBC's reporting didn't mention the other obvious connection between the memorial's location and the development of tanks :whistle:
