geraint Posted 18 May , 2015 Share Posted 18 May , 2015 History of 4th RWF Pioneer battalion at Loos says "At 5.50am on September 25th the gas cylinders were opened and dense clouds of smoke rolled out of the RWF trenches where RWF detachments were in control of the smoke-candles."
