It had interested me for some time as it is an 18ft "replica" of the Cenotaph in Whitehall London. There are 459 Names from the Great War and 252 from the Second World War listed. A Zeppelin attack in World War I dropped a diagonal line of bombs from Axholme Street to Aire Street.
