Hi,

I have a postcard marked simply ASC. Featuring a group of senior NCO's and Officers of an unknown ASC formation and wondered if anyone could help put names to any of the subjects.

The man behind the 2nd Lieutenant has a medal ribbon displayed, 1914 star perhaps? That would suggest 1915 or later!

The Captain? and the 2nd lieutenant ( with wound stripe) have darkened cap badges, everybody else has polished furiously for the picture. Are the badges of the two gents in the middle of the back row ASC distorted or for another regiment altogether?

Is there meaning in the lanyard worn by the second chap in the back row?

Hi,

Here's a closeup of the Warrant officer, Captain and Lieutenant.

Any help would be most welcome.

Guy.
