Lovely story and proved without digging anyone up or DNA tests. Marvellous.

I confess to struggling to think what a Victorian WW1 grave was!

"WW1 graves in Victoria" might have saved me the trouble.

But it is an interesting story - thanks for posting.

Excellent work.

However, it is not clear to me what will be inscribed on the grave markers. They only know that each man is buried in one of two graves.

Possibly one grave and two markers? One grave , one marker to both men?

It was great to see what this successful outcome meant to the Eacott and Huntsman families.

In regards to the grave markers I imagine that is something the Commonwealth war Graves Commission will be working on once they receive the epitaphs from the families.

Cheers

Nice work Mr Pittaway and friend. That's what it's all about.
