The Majors Batman Posted 8 March , 2015 Share Posted 8 March , 2015 In St Michaels Church Bournemouth is this beautiful stain glass window in memory of to 2 brothers I have traced Neil Douglas CWGC without any problem but Ian Campbell has eluded me, any ideas as to where he is possibly listed Mc and Mac has been used in the quest and variations on Hut 6. woollamc Posted 8 March , 2015 Share Posted 8 March , 2015 See the attached link to the London Gazette - Ian Campbell MacFadyen seems to have died in 1908 after receiving a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The previous page describes the action as "Bazar Valley Field Force, from 15th to 29th February, 1908". In other words, he died on the North West Frontier.
