Straight answer is no - there were London regiment battalions in (I think), the 54th Division in the Middle East; there were also the 58th (2nd/1st) and 60th (2nd/2nd) London Divisions, containing second-line battalions. Then, to complete the joy, several battalions were brought back from palestine (where the 60th Division ended up) to France in 1918 and joined (if I remember correctly) the 31st Division.
