signaling on a ship how

hello all I have a question say in ww1 on a ship how would the bridge communicate with a gunner from the bridge and would they use a morse code light or hand help morce code lanten thanks and not to other ships to the decks from the bridge hope this makes scenes

Voice pipe, telephone, transmitting station pointers, bugle/drum, runners, wave and shout - depending on the ship, conditions, and level of action damage.

hmas Australia 1 I was talking about well the old bloke who had the teapot I showed a time ago well he has gone now god bless him well his kids sold off a heap of old stuff at a yard sale and I got a few things one is a morse code lantern that has hmas Australia ran bridge on it and was thinking it signalled from the bridge to the gunners or the decks so was trying to find out how they signalled on the ship I cant remember how to load photos to this site
