Hi Guys,

I am looking for information on this guy also, Andrew McEwan born 5.08.1895 in Newton, near Edinburgh, served with the L.B.H. (I take this to be Lothian Borders Horse?) Service number 2454, he also survived the war.

Thanks,

Swally

And battalion details from the Medal Rolls:

Military Year: 1914-1920

Rank: Private

Medal Awarded: British War Medal and Victory Medal

Regiment or Corps: The Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment)

Regimental Number: 273210

Previous Units: 1/1st. L. & B.H. 2454 Pte., 17th. R. Scots. 273210 Pte.
