CGM Posted 31 January , 2015 Share Posted 31 January , 2015 Since the forum search can be really iffy about 3 letter words you probably didn't stand a chance!

Jim Strawbridge Posted 1 February , 2015 Share Posted 1 February , 2015 Any ideas as to where she was born ? anyone. David Winterbottom has been researching the local church memorial and is of the opinion that Ada’s father was a widower in the 1911 Census with 6 daughters, including an Ada Kay (aged 17) - four of whom had been born in Wigan. The father’s birthplace was Thornham, Royton. Ada died in 1924 - a little late to be considered "war dead".
