Corisande,

In a post under "Soldiers" on this forum, Wexflyer states that he found the baptism record for Edward Corrigham, dated 19 March 1890, at Dundalk, County Louth.  Both parents are identified, as Edward Corrigham & Julia Sullivan Corrigham.  Wexflyer states that the probable birthdate is 17 or 18 March 1890, as both parents were Catholic and the custom was to baptize newborns within a day or two of birth.  Wexflyer also said that no corresponding civil registration record could be found.  As the misspelling of the surname ensured that the record remained obscure, Wexflyer is to be congratulated for locating this elusive record.
