Fattyowls Posted 18 January , 2015 Share Posted 18 January , 2015 Linda Welcome to the Forum; there is a lot of interest in Cloudy Trench and plenty to read. Try putting "Cloudy Trench" into the search box at the top right of the page, I don't think you will need to read beyond the first post which comes up (or came up for me when I just tried it). Let us know how you get on and maybe what your interest is. Pete.
trenchtrotter Posted 18 January , 2015 Share Posted 18 January , 2015 Further to the above and my succinct reply the area is accessible and deepeding when you visit you ca walk the fields or if crops are present you will have to stick to the tracks. It is however a featureless plain and shallow valley devoid of cover and in winter bleak and exposed. Good luck. TT
Guest lindagardner Posted 18 January , 2015 Share Posted 18 January , 2015 Thank you for your replies. I am visiting next year as my uncle was killed there. He was only 20 years of age when he was shot in the head by a german sniper during an attack on mild and cloudy. His death was a great tragedy for the family and he has always been remembered. Thank you for your information. I hope I find the area!
