looking for SIDNEY JOHN JENKINS MONMOUTHSHIRE REGIMENT HE JOINED UP QUITE YOUNG WENT ON TO BE A MINISTER

THIS IS THE ONLY RECORD I CAN FIND OF A SIDNEY JENKINS IN THE MONMOUTHSHIRE REGIMENT

If this is the man in the other thread (photo of a man in a Mon Rgt uniform) it's worth remembering that men often changed regiments during ww1. Given how common the name is, I'd be a bit wary about dismissing MIC's with the full name and/or initials in favour of one with the 'right' regiment but missing a middle name or initial.

Do you know anything else about his service?

Yes, 2nd Btn Monmouthshire Regiment. Six figure service numbers came out sometime in 1917 if I remember rightly.
