Hi everyone,

Whilst trying to trace my Great Grandfather's medals (more info on him in a post still to come!) I have found a cached page on Google showing them in an auction held in June 2014.

The cached page is here - http://goo.gl/VSPV43

The lot in question is no. 8295 - my relative being Pte. James Taylor.

I have already emailed the auction house asking if they have the details of the buyer - however, if you bought them or if you think you might know who did, please could you get in touch with me?

I would be incredibly grateful if these medals could come home - and would be very happy to make an offer for them!!

Thanks a lot,

Andrew

Just in case this thread gets buried and somebody finds it in years to come whilst researching them... Service number 18222, 2nd Battalion Suffolk Regiment, KIA in May 1917 and buried in Feuchy Chapel British Cemetery!
