Dannemois Posted 1 January , 2015 Share Posted 1 January , 2015 Hi to all and Best Wishes for 2015 I have been researching a soldier named on the Brithdir War Memorial (Rhymney Valley, Glamorgan) but sadly failed to find his service records. There are no casualties on CWGC named B Evans. I wonder if someone could check the following soldier, Pte Benjamin Evans 4496/22689, on SDGW. I'm clutching at straws and hoping for any clue that would link him to Brithdir. Regards Roy

Dannemois Posted 1 January , 2015 Author Share Posted 1 January , 2015 Hello Harry Many thanks for the details, I really am clutching at straws; trawled through old newspapers but no luck. Even relatives searching him are just as frustrated for the lack of information. Regards, Roy
