Not sure of the unit, the first card you can see battle insignia on the lower left arm also in the background is the letter F

Great additional photos Themonsstar - thank you for posting.

Hi thermostar,

#1203=Willy Hädicke

#1204 first photo is a rare one. It shows members of a Fernsprech-unit of the 267 Field Artillery Regiment within the 208th Division or members of the 267 FAR at a Fernsprech (Telephone) point. All units of the 208th Div. had cuff markings instead of numbers to make them harder to identify.

@ Chris: #1208 not Polley. It´s Palley. Mr. Palley was the mayor of the city- The writer Emil was with Field Artillery Reg. 16 (FAR 16) #1209 1st photo Füsilier Regiment 35 from Brandenburg, Havel. 2nd Landsturm. 3rd: left Husar, right Ulane. In the middle: at least one guardsman, shoulderboards to small to call.

Very nice card!!!!!!

II.Battery /Feldart Abtl. 203. It belonged to the Alpenkorps!

I don´t know, where it was taken. I can´t read the 3rd line...

Here are the battle-theatres of the Alpenkorps (in german language, I hope it´s ok for you):

Gefechtskalender Alpenkorps.pdf

(black: battles, green: commanders, blue: placed under command of, red: transports

Great work  JWK! That fits!!!!!

It´ s an early photo. The regiment was under command of the Alpenkorps since May 27, 1915.

Sand in Taufers is north of the final build-up line Bozen-Brixen-Sexten. So I´d say, the photo was taken around end of may/beginning june 1915.
