J T Gray Posted 3 November , 2004 Posted 3 November , 2004 I found the attached (and the two pictures following it) in my mail account recently. I was sent them last year by a distant cousin, who didn't know who they were either. There are no badges visible, and I cannot blow up any details as he's not too good with a scanner.... Moderator, if I'm wasting space with unanswerable questions feel free to bin any of these posts! So... Can anyone add anything? It's later than 1916 by the Brodies, but that's about all I know. Thank God Bruce Bairnsfather never saw the chap on the left with his hat over his eyes, or Old Bill would have been a very different chap! Adrian P.S. It is POSSIBLE that one of the soldier is Pte Henry Robert Bewers of the 2nd Battalion Suffolk regiment, died August 18th and commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. It is also possible it isn't him of course!
