R M Oconnor41 Posted 4 December , 2014 Share Posted 4 December , 2014 Please could I ask for your help in identifying the cap and sleeve badges. From the location of the photographer i would guess hertfordshire. Is there any significance to the lanyard? Thanks

wainfleet Posted 4 December , 2014 Share Posted 4 December , 2014 Cap badge definitely Herts. Title will be T over HERTS. The badge on his arm is a musician's badge. Musicians would normally also act as stretcher bearers. There's no special significance to the lanyard, which soldiers seem to have worn or not if they felt like it.
