19062 C. Sjt. E. G. Wilson has two L.G. dates both dated well after the end of the war. One is for his D. C. M. 16/R.W.Fus. What is the other London Gazette for ?. Lyn.

Easy!

Look up the LG entry then page back till you get to the top of the list which will state the Medal and the reason for it.

June 1919 was the announcement of his (bar to?) DCM.

March 1920 was the citation - https://www.thegazette.co.uk/Edinburgh/issue/13575/page/771/

IPT

Only the first person on that EG entry was for a DCM Bar, "200199 Sjt (A/CSM) Boyd R.S.Fus at the bottom of page 1876" the rest including Wilson from the top of page 1877 was for the DCM only.

The 2nd entry as you've quoted is the citation for the DCM.

On Walker's D.C.M. book there is no bar next to his name. Lars.If that's the case.If Sjt. Wilson was awarded the M.M. that is missing from the group. Lyn.

Ah yes. Teach me to attempt multi-tasking (one of said tasks being drinking wine).
