Guest desib2002 Posted 18 November , 2014 Share Posted 18 November , 2014 Hello - I am trying to get any information on my Great Uncle James Bannon who died in the great war on the 7th June 1917. His name is listed on the Menin Gate but would there have been diaries about the battle that he died in ??

My great Uncle Tommy DuRr died in September 1918, in the same area of Wulvergem , he's buried in the Lindenhoek cemetery, James doesn't have a grave.
