Guest aces4al Posted 18 November , 2014 Share Posted 18 November , 2014 Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me find more information about my great grandfather. His name was George Mclean from Gateshead Tyne and Wear, service number 51320 and served in the 1st Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. I have found very little on the internet, only that he was killed on May 14th 1918 and is buried in Ypres, Belgium battery corner. I'm searching for more info on mine and my dads behalf and would just like to find out anything more than what I have really, but I would love to see any pics or hear any stories that there may be, not just of my great grandfather but anything of the battles he may have been involved in or his regiment, I'm thinking there must be something out there i.e pictures or anything, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance, Alan.
