Gelder brothers - Lancashire Fusiliers

I'm trying to find out more about two brothers who were killed - I'm told by their relative they were in the Lancashire Fusiliers. The family history is that they died in the Dardinelles.

I've found one for certain Private 1917 Albert Edward Gelder - killed 7th August 1915 - - the other is possibly Private 305194 J Gelder killed 7th April 1918 (this of course dispels the family version that they died together).

Thank you for any help

No from what I'm told they were from Rochdale.

Soldiers Died has them both born in Salford. Although Rochdale is listed as a residence for Albert.

There is also an Albert Edward Gelder on the 1911 census shown as a boarder living at 80 Duke St, Lower Broughton. Age 21 b Salford. The family at 80 Duke St are called Greener and a son was called William. There is a William Greener of The Manchester Regt on SDGW but he died in 1917.
