Hi guys,im trying to find my grandfathers service records but with little to go on its very frustrating.Names, dates and next of kin do not match up,i have a photo of him and his shoulder patch has NZFA but i still cannot find a 100% match!Their is a record that mentions bombing school, but no mention of artillery. He ended up here in Australia but with no living relatives im at a bit of a loss! Any help would be greatly appreciated, mark.

Hi Tungstein,

I guess you have already seen the records at Archway in NZ.

If not here is the link to 8 or so Francis Kellys

http://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/SimpleSearchResults.do

and 5 more at Auckland Cenotaph records

http://muse.aucklandmuseum.com/databases/Cenotaph/SearchResults.aspx?Page=1&c_surname_search=kelly&c_firstname_search=francis&c_warconflict_search=%22world+war+i,+1914-1918%22

Regards

Dale
