Sorry it has taken me so long to do this but as promised a few images in honour of 2nd Lt. Mariller and the men of the 2nd Royal Sussex.

And a photograph courtesy of Google Earth looking across the ground attacked. Basseville Cabaret which I assume was the inn mentioned is to the right of picture. The Bassevillebeek runs from the edge of the field in the bottom left hand corner to the small stand of trees and beyond.

Pete, as ever a star, thank you so much, I appreciate you taking all the time and effort to find and post these pictures for us, nothing like getting eyes on the ground
