Skipman Posted 24 October , 2014 Share Posted 24 October , 2014 I found this on YouTube. I could only find one thread by centurion on submachine guns, and believe his was an Italian gun? Anyway, happy for this to be shot down, as it were. What do you make of it? Mike

Guest Posted 24 October , 2014 Share Posted 24 October , 2014 I think it probably is the same one. Is this old news? Mike

Mike It doesn't seem so & looks like it's a relatively recent post on the site asking what it might be. I've not seen anything on it before on here. gSpartan150 Posted 8 November , 2014 Share Posted 8 November , 2014 Its an "MG08/18 Submachine gun". Only one or two exists, the best known one in a Russian museum. Since only these two have been discovered we must question its authenticity or the fact that its even a real thing. Its fed with a box-mechanism magazine like the French Mle 1914 machine guns. Personally I don't think its real but I may be wrong. http://www.forgottenweapons.com/experimental-german-0818-maxim-smg/
