Ellis1918 Posted 3 October , 2014 Share Posted 3 October , 2014 From CWGC burial return I have map reference D.13.c.90.10 but cannot get to a grid centroid. Would it be sheet 28 ? Am I missing another digit ? Assistance appreciated
Guest Posted 3 October , 2014 Share Posted 3 October , 2014 Hi Ellis, if you know roughly where the area is, ie, Arras, or whatever, input the place name into McMaster search and you should get the sheet ref number. You do need to add this if you are using the coordinates converter So if it is sheet 28, input 28.D.13.c.90.10 with no full stop after the 0 Edit-it doesn't matter about the full stop here. Guest Posted 3 October , 2014 Share Posted 3 October , 2014 Ken is correct. I hadn't noticed you had said Passchendaele, so yes, sheet 28 centroid 50.8817, 2.9538 copy and paste to google earth. Mike
