However..... this trench sketch extract from IR 179's occupation dating from 1916 shows the position to be a totally different location in the same wood. Not sure which location to believe, but, going off the sheer amount of detail contained on the complete version of this particular map, I'd lean more to this being the accurate version (though, of course, I suppose names could have changed over the year!)...
