Ron Posted 31 October , 2004 Share Posted 31 October , 2004 37th Brigade, of which 64th Pioneers formed part, arrived in Mesopotamia in Feb 1916, so they were not there in 1915 but were in India. They were part of General Lake's attempt to relieve the siege of Kut el Amara and took part in the battle of Sannaiyat, the final attempt which failed.
