Moonraker Posted 9 September , 2014 Share Posted 9 September , 2014 I was in the Thames-side village of Wargrave this morning and passed the library in Church Street. The building bears a plaque commemorating its use as a VAD hospital in the Great War. website Some excellent photographs. I wonder how true is the claim that Coalition Ministers were staying in the village on the eve of the war and that Cabinet meetings were held there? Interesting comment on the shop-girl's reaction to Lloyd George! Moonraker
