Website awards

I've just noticed that my website has been shortlisted in the final of the NTL Broadband awards. As the only site remotely connected with the Great War and memorials [who else would be so mad?], I would, of course, be grateful for any votes that might come my way! Please! - I think I might win a toffee apple and a string bag!

The awards are at:

NTL Broadband awards

And the web site is in the 'Fast Fifties' category. [Don't ask!]

Sue.

Another vote - but surely you must have lied about your age in order to get into this category!!

Sue,

How did you get to hear that you had been shortlisted?.... after all, it's not the sort of site us "cemetery ramblers" tend to visit.

Sue,

A bit of a shock when Foxy's mug came up, but got past that and voted.

Good Luck

Ok. I've voted. it was hellsgeriatrics, wasnt it?

No, no, John - I think they must be a Scottish Territorial mob

Neil - I probably would have been entered in the 'Energetic Eighties' if there had been one!

Les - No-one actually told me - I knew that a friend had put the site forward quite a while ago, but due to my Norton Firewall's 'ad-blocking', I can't actually see the full NTL page without turning it off. But over the last day there have been rather a lot of website hits from one NTL address, and being a bit suspicious I turned the ad-blocking off and had a look - and found myself - quite a surprise!

Anyway, thanks to everybody for your support - personally I'm rather taken by the chalet park in Winterton-on-Sea

Thanks again - Sue

You have my vote Sue for a great website... well done.

Mind you it was a hard decision with "saundersallotment" site in Gosport.

Jock - How about putting forward that educational website you came across recently!?
