ENTRIES IN DE RUVIGENY'S ROLL OF HONOUR

Thanks to Ancestry, I have found the write up in de Ruvigney's for (Harry) Reginald Sheppard. However, there is one abbreviation on there that I need some help with. The last paragraph says "He m. (obviously married) at Salisbury, 18 Sept. 1909 Mary Jane (40 Wingford Road, Clapham Park, S.W.) dau. of Dathan Sumbler; s.p. Hope I am not being dim, but can anyone tell me what the "s.p." stands for please?

Many thanks.

Jill

Hi Jill,

It is actually short for the Latin: sine prole, 'Without Issue', ie. they had no children.
