Hello All

I am hoping that some one might be able to give me a quick potted history of 16th Bn AIF in Gallipoli covering the period up to 2nd May 1915. I am interested in Dan Fereday who was lost that day. From his papers it seems that he was just lost never to be seen or found.

Thanks in advance for your input.

On the same topic. John Fereday was to lose his life on 12th August 1916, again serving with 16th Bn AIF. Any details regarding that period of service would also be a great help.

Guy, yes I have a gut and can't spell either!!!!

Love the humour.

As for the service, have you seen the war diary?

Good suggestions, Sandra but I think Guy is the one who needs to check them out.

All the best
