Does anyone have any information on the yeomanry Regt from Ashton in Makerfield before it merged with King's Regt?

I'm also after info on James Boon who was in the above before being killed 21st Sept 1917whilst in the King's - does anyone know what battle this may have been?

I'm also interested in Wilfred Southworth who was killed 10th Sept 1918 whilst in the West Somerset Yeomanry but formerly South Lancs Regt - what battle and why would he transferred from Lancs to Somerset?

'A' Squadron Lancashire Hussars were based at Ashton-in-Makerfield.
